Before you try to learn online, it is important to know your learning style, your limitations and your technological skills, because they are part of the skills you need to acquire on a daily basis. This can give you the confidence and preparation you need to get started!
Weigh personal factors
1. Do I have enough hours in the day to read, study and write? Online courses require a lot of reading and writing.
2. Do I have support from my family / spouse to help me? Having a family that helps you understand when you need to be on your computer is important to your success. Sometimes families can see that you are going to school online, you are at home and on the computer, so you do not have to work.
3. Do I have physical problems that could prevent me from sitting for a long time? Choice of students online
4. Do I know how to discipline myself to work even when I do not feel like it? By learning about the motivational advice of the students, you will continue.
5. Do I know how to balance my life commitments around school? Planning and goal setting are important elements for success.
